Bible Versions Warning

As many know, there are various versions of the English Bible available to use. With these versions the translation and meaning of the original words change and start to loose meaning. The same goes with the Tamil Bible which is starting to be translated into various versions.

I would like to say, that I am not against anyone using different versions to read from, however I am writing this as an expression in what is in my heart to say.

God’s Words from the original Bible and the True meanings of each word is fading away in the newer versions. In many of the new translations many Words/Verses written by the Holy Spirit have been omitted.

Various times in the Bible, God commands us not to add or remove any of his Words from the Bible. In Deuteronomy it says,
“You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.” Deuteronomy 4:2

And in Proverbs,
“Do not add to His words, Lest He rebuke you, and you be found a liar.” Proverbs 30:6

Each Word in the Bible is given through the Holy Spirit and each has purpose and significance. We have no authority to add or change anything!

In the Book of Timothy it is written,
“All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.” 2 Timothy 3:16-17

In Isaiah it says,
“Search from the book of the Lord, and read: Not one of these shall fail; Not one shall lack her mate. For My mouth has commanded it, and His Spirit has gathered them. Isaiah 34:16

We need to search and match the Verses to get a greater understanding of what is written, as all the verses are connected and have purpose and significance of being there.

Various new versions of the Bible have been translated for production purposes, and changed in meaning to make it ‘easily understood.’ As well as different groups creating different versions of the Bible to suit their particular beliefs and needs, these are widely available because of business. Using these versions should only be for personal reference as the original text needs to be read as they have True meaning in the Words that was written by the Holy Spirit.
